After being exhibited in the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum for the Birds In Art Exhibition in 2024 and the New Salem Museum of Fine Art in 2025, this painting is now available for sale. This painting also won the Medal of Excellence from Artist For Conservation, Best of Show for the 4th Annual Wild Art Open International Exhibition, and second place in the international art competition, The Golden Turtle.

I created this painting after a trip to FL a few back with my wife, where we saw a roseate spoonbill in the wild.  I’m often told I turn all our trips into turtle trips.  Well, after seeing this incredibly beautiful bird I knew I had to paint one and instead of a turtle trip, this turned into a bird trip!
